Always take exactly as prescribed. Do not take more than one dose in any 24-hour period, and do not combine with any other medication containing tadalafil, vardenafil, sildenafil, or other PDE5 inhibitors.
Do not take tadalafil or vardenafil if you use nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or guanylate cyclase stimulators (such as riociguat), as the combination can cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure. Tell your physician about all medications you take, including alpha-blockers and blood pressure medication, and about any heart conditions. Common side effects may include headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy nose. In rare cases, PDE5 inhibitors can cause priapism (an erection lasting more than 4 hours) — seek immediate medical attention if this occurs, as it can cause permanent damage. Stop and seek medical help immediately if you experience sudden vision or hearing loss, chest pain, or an allergic reaction.
